> Scientific workshop (09.03.2006 )

The aim of the scientific workshop is to present a synthesis of ongoing scientific research on biological invasions in Belgium, with a focus on the results gathered during the INPLANBEL research project.

The workshop will be organised in sessions that parallel the different approaches adopted in the INPLANBEL project: implementing check lists of invading species, understanding the dispersal and spread at the landscape scale, predicting invasion from species and ecosystems traits, assessing the impacts of IAS on ecosystems and biodiversity. Workshop official language is English.

The workshop will be organised in the auditorium of the Royal Belgian Institute for Natural Sciences, Brussels.
