Pieter BoetsI am researcher with a wide interest in aquatic ecology. During my PhD I investigated the impact and spread of alien macroinvertebrates in different habitats. As a postdoctoral researcher I tried to disentangle the complex combined effects of environmental conditions and invasive species on ecosystem structure and functioning. Currently, I am occupied with the study of the ecological water quality (fish and macroinvertebrates) in Flanders (Belgium). Affiliation
